Continuous Glucose Monitoring

The Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CGMS) detects blood glucose levels in your body at five minute intervals over a period of 72 hours. The information recorded by you and the CGMS will help your doctor get a more complete picture of what typically happens to your blood sugars throughout the day and night. Your doctor will then be able to make a more accurate determination of your diabetes management needs.
